MEET NICKY WOODS
Nicky Woods is a lifelong conservative Republican, small business owner, former police officer, and mom raising her family right here in Lancaster County. A Christian who attends LCBC, Nicky believes faith, family, and service to others are the foundation of strong communities.

Before beginning her career in public service, Nicky attended Bloomsburg University, where she was an All-American field hockey player and a member of the university’s national championship team. The discipline, teamwork, and competitive drive she developed through athletics helped shape the work ethic she has carried throughout her career.
​
Nicky went on to serve more than 20 years in law enforcement, including work as an undercover officer in a drug suppression unit. During her career, she became the first known female SERT (SWAT) operator in Pennsylvania, serving on an elite tactical team responsible for handling some of the most dangerous situations facing law enforcement. She was later recognized with the Police Foundation Award for Excellence for her work mentoring youth in Lancaster.

In addition to her public service, Nicky is also a small business owner who has employed more than 50 people, giving her firsthand experience with the challenges facing local businesses, workers, and families.

In 2024, Nicky was elected Lancaster County Clerk of Courts, where she quickly restored accountability and efficiency to a struggling office. Through smart management and cross-training staff, she transformed a disorganized operation into a model of efficiency—saving taxpayers nearly $200,000 annually while improving service to the public.

With experience in law enforcement, business, public office, and as a mother raising her family in Lancaster County, Nicky Woods is ready to bring common sense, accountability, and conservative leadership to Harrisburg as State Representative for the 98th District.
